Aluminum Honeycomb Panel (Cabinet & Furniture Series) - Engineered for Custom Furniture
Furniture-grade thickness is critical to cabinet performance. Our Cabinet & Furniture Series is produced in the 14-20 mm range used across the custom furniture industry, with 18 mm as the standard specification: a 0.6 mm aluminum face, a 16.8 mm aluminum honeycomb core with 8 mm cells, and a 0.6 mm aluminum back sheet. This configuration matches the hardware, hinge and edge-banding systems already used on particleboard and MDF cabinet doors, so manufacturers can switch to aluminum without re-tooling their production lines.
Unlike wood-based panels, an all-aluminum honeycomb cabinet panel never absorbs water, never swells at the edges, and cannot be attacked by termites or mould. This makes it the preferred material for kitchens, bathroom vanities, balcony cabinets and coastal or tropical projects where humidity destroys conventional furniture within a few years. The panel is fully inorganic, releases zero formaldehyde, and is 100% recyclable at end of life.

A: For cabinets and custom furniture the industry range is 14-20 mm. Our standard is 18 mm (0.6 mm face + 16.8 mm honeycomb core + 0.6 mm back); 14 mm, 16 mm and 20 mm are also available. Note that other applications use different thicknesses - 7-9 mm for ceilings and wall panels, 38-48 mm for doors, and 2-8 mm for facade cladding.
